Gary Delaney & Friends at Milnrow Cricket Club was nothing short of roof-lifting hilarity. A night that felt like catching up with old mates—if your mates were world-class joke-tellers with impeccable timing and a slightly mischievous streak.
Catherine Young Comedy took the reins as compere and instantly had the audience wrapped around her finger. With high-energy charm, razor-sharp observational comedy, and that naughty glint in her eye, she controlled the room like a seasoned conductor directing a symphony of laughter.

Kicking things off was Eddy Brimson Comedian Actor Author a man’s man with the heart of melted butter. Honest, magnetic, and brimming with punchy storytelling, he had the crowd in the palm of his hand from minute one. You could almost hear the Monday morning whispers: “Did you see that bloke at the cricket club? Unreal.”

Next up: the fearless Lou Conran comedian, podcaster, and master of disarming honesty. Her stories, hilariously personal and brilliantly told, had the room in stitches. Strangers felt like friends by the end, and her cheeky delivery paired with perfect timing was unforgettable.

And then, the headliner: Gary Delaney . The king of one-liners. If you’ve never seen him live, fix that!!! His set was a masterclass in joke-crafting. You could feel the room willing him to stay longer. As “Oh Gary Delaney!” rang out from the crowd, he simply smiled and said “Thank you.” Humble. Hilarious. Legendary.
Gary Delaney & Friends was exactly what it promised: a proper laugh, shared with great company. If you weren’t there... well, next time, don’t miss out, like their pages to see where they are soon 🔥
